Joint concert with Hartes Ease and

Tallis Consort in May 2017

The very successful concert in May 2017 raised £255.  £55 was given to St Ninian’s Church and £200 was donated to Mannin Sepsis.

The late Brian Head, a retired headmaster from the Buchan School and very well known through his musical talent, was musical director of Tallis Consort until May 2015, taking over the role from Charles Cain who had been director for many years.   Brian Head was a friend and supporter of both Early Music groups, regularly attending their concerts with his wife Catherine. The members therefore decided to donate proceeds from the joint concert to the charity chosen by Brian’s family in his memory, Mannin Sepsis.

This concert was the first joint venture of the two groups for many years.  The concert was very well received, so future joint concerts are planned.
